It’s that time of year again! After a sunny stay in Spain, Sinterklaas and his Pieten will arrive in Amsterdam on Sunday, November 16th, 2025. Get ready for a day full of music, cheer, and festive treats!

The boat parade starts at 10:00 AM at De Omval and arrives around 11:30 AM at the National Maritime Museum – right next to our Plantage neighborhood.
From 1:00 PM, the colorful procession continues on horseback and on foot from the Stopera/Waterlooplein, via the Utrechtsestraat and Weteringcircuit, to Leidseplein, where Sinterklaas is expected to arrive around 2:15 PM.

Along the route, there will be plenty to enjoy: music, performances, and of course the chance to see Sinterklaas and his Pieten up close.
The day ends with a festive program at Leidseplein between 3:00 and 3:30 PM.
